Sherron Fergason – Oil Paintings

I have lived on the west coast of California, moving to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and on to my final destination, South Carolina. I studied fine arts, specifically painting since the late 60’s attending a community college as a High School student in California. I continued my studies throughout college, obtaining my teaching credentials all the while continuing my art career. Now happily residing in South Carolina, I am pursing my full-time passion for the fine arts in the medias of oil, graphite and acrylic.

My first love is oil painting. My paintings reflect the beauty that surrounds all of us in everyday life. Whether Plein Air painting or working in my studio, I use my feelings, perceptions and emotions when choosing an image to paint.
