Robert M. Seel, Photography and Mixed Media
Originally from Rahway and Bridgewater, New Jersey, Rob has called Clemson home since 1984. He is a 1988 Design graduate of Clemson University, with a Master of Architecture degree from 1990.
Rob is a national award-winning Architect, leading his own firm, RMS Architecture, since 2005. He also teaches at Clemson’s College of Architecture, Arts, and Humanities.
Rob is a professional musician, noted railroad model craftsman, occasional writer and committed coffee roaster. He is a mixed-media artist, working primarily in photography and low-relief sculpture, media depending on the idea being presented. Rob’s artwork is rather architectural in character, emphasizing line, rhythm, geometric overlays, light and shadow, and the play between natural and man-made forms. He has also designed furniture for residential and church projects.
Rob and his wife, Frances, have two artistically inclined daughters. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the National Model Railroad Association, and the Art Gallery on Pendleton Square!
